シリンダーライナー、ホーニングの目的

内燃機関でシリンダーライナー表面にホーニングを施行し、クロスマークを付ける目的。

低硫黄燃料油使用によるラッカリング被膜の生成、低質燃料油使用による残渣物
の増加から発生するポリッシング現象などから、ホーニングが消滅しオイルアップの増大を引き起こします。　この結果、潤滑油の消費量が急激に増大する不具合が確認されています。

これに対し、弊社では整備時に再ホーニングを実施しオイルアップ抑制効果を復活させるようにしております。

Honing surfaces wear out to cause oil up increase due to fomation of lacquening from using low Sulphur fuel oil,
polishing phenomenon caused by increased residue from using
low quality heavy fuel oil and the like.
Accordingly,it has been that consumption of lubricant oil
drastically increased. As a countemeasure for qreventing this problem, we recommend, in maintenance inspection, rehoning for the qurpose of regaining the effect of oil up
control.
